Djibouti Says Seven Soldiers Killed in Rebel Attack

Djibouti said seven of its soldiers were killed in an attack by a rebel group on a military barracks in the early hours of Friday, and launched a search to find six still missing. An Albanian organised crime ring involved in smuggling migrants to the UK via Spain has been dismantled. The network facilitated journeys of mainly Albanian migrants, smuggling them through the northern Spanish cities of Bilbao and Santander into the UK using ferries and freight shipping routes to Portsmouth, Southampton and Liverpool. A man in Russia's western Penza region who was called in for military service died while undergoing training, according to reports. The unnamed 41-year-old conscript suffered a heart attack during drills at a training ground in Penza's eponymous administrative center, Russian publication PenzaInform reported.
